June 12, 200619 yr For example in DF727 at level I turn my yoke quickly fully right and keep it there the plane starts to bank of course. It took about five seconds to reach 45 deg of bank (the steepest marking on the ADI). Is that time realistic? If not what is the real value? What about other planes? Also I think I have read that the PMDG 747 Queen is much faster in this regard and therefore more realistic. Is that so? Anybody knows?I know that a fighter jet can roll 360 deg twice in a second in reallife.
June 12, 200619 yr Not sure how accurate my recollection is but I do recall reading an article about the 767-400 flight test, which said something about the roll rate. I believe it said 7 seconds to reach 45 (or 60) deg of bank.Please correct me if I
