I really really hate this issue.. I have tried every solution there is out there but it still persists. I know it's going to be fixed in 4.3 but who knows when that will be released is there any solution that works!???

The only thing that worked for me was to save my Prepar3d.cfg, build another one, and import manually my custom parameters from the previous one.
