April 20, 20188 yr Hi everyone, I have a Saitek-x52(I know!) and I need to map a hat switch om my flight-stick to p3d.............any ideas anyone? many thanks Patrick Horan aka Patrico
April 20, 20188 yr Moderator what's your problem? I have an x52 and an x55 both mapped through FSUIPC - no issues. If you don't use FSUIPC map it through the control assignment menu in P3D. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

April 24, 20188 yr Moderator Let me check when I get home. It's been a while since I mapped it and don't recall how I did it. If you haven't seen it - https://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/SIMSAMURAI+FSUIPC+TUTORIAL.pdf this is what I used to map my controls. April 24, 20188 yr Hi Patrico, is it the hat switch for panning the view? I just retired my x52, but in my case I needed to change the FSUIPC option from raw to direct input for my hat switch to control panning of the view. FYI I've read that this might delete some key assignments in your control options menu. Dan Dominik "I thought you said your dog does not bite.... That's not my dog."

April 26, 20188 yr Moderator Works just fine on P3Dv4. I still use it when I need to set up a new system. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
