I don't remember how I solved it for you before, but when you ran the installer did the installer "auto-detect" the correct location of your FSX folder?

When I check steam side by side install  it will autodetect steam fsx. if I select fsx it will  autodetect boxed version  flt sim.  In the boxed vesion I manually redirected  to steam fsx.. in all cases I get a message( when trying io enable with config ) majestic dash 8 q400 not found s boxed version file routing thru  panel.cfg

So you have boxed and steam installed at the same time.

That's a recipe for headaches.

Please do this:

Uninstall the Boxed Version.

Only run Steam version.

Run the FSX registry repair tool from Flight1 and ensure your registry points to the correct Steam location.

Even better, dump FSX and go to P3D V4.
