May 2, 20188 yr Hello, I set up a bunch of exterior views in Chaseplane, and assigned them all to a single button on my joystick. I discovered that I can cycle between the views without difficulty unless one of the views is listed as Track Aircraft. If I cycle to that view it seems to get stuck there and will not allow me to cycle to other views assigned to that button. If I untick track aircraft on the view, I discovered that I can include that view and cycle through without problem. Is this by intent? I was thinking of cycling to a side view of the aircraft and then being able to use my HAT SWITCH on my joystick to pan around the plane. and being able to cycle back to static views. Or must I individually assign a different button for any track aircraft views? Using latest beta experimental release, 4.204 Thanks, Greg Greg Clark
May 2, 20188 yr Commercial Member Hi Greg, Is the issue present on Outside views or Static views? You shouldn't be able to cycle through Static cameras (as intended) but it shouldn't be an issue in Outside views. Regards, Keven Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
May 2, 20188 yr Author Hi Keven, These are just outside views. I have passenger over wing views etc, ie looking away from the fuselage and couple of views of the aircraft looking back at the aircraft from about 150 feet to the front and off to the left for example. If I tick track aircraft on the latter, so I can then in turn use the initial position as a start point to pan [move around] the aircraft, but keeping it centered, that creates the scenario that I can cycle into the view, but even if I don't pan, when I hit the button again, expecting to cycle to a preset over the wing view, what I see is that the view jumps up a bit and then settles back to the preset instead of cycling to the next in the series. if I untick track aircraft I cannot pan around from the view but it will fall back in line and allow my cycle among all the presets.
