May 4, 20188 yr After performing well for almost 8 years, my TrackIR 5 died last night. I bought it in the summer of 2010, and it's served me well for years. The camera section of the TrackIR application shows only solid red lines, which is an indication that the camera has stopped functioning properly. I've already ordered another one. Come to think of it, this is the first time I've replaced a piece of equipment with exactly the same piece of equipment (and not an upgrade of some sort). 😁 I just can't live without a TrackIR after using it for so long. May 5, 20188 yr I keep hoping that my TIR will last until affordable high resolution VR becomes available, which I figure is about the year 2020, no pun intended.
