AFCAD questions.

I'm trying to make my home airport as accurate as possible using AFCAD to redesign the airport and EZ-Scenery for the details. I've added many more parking spaces than the default airport. How do I get the AI to use these spaces? It seems only about 19 get used. Also, is there a way to fill these spaces with mostly Cessna aircraft? I'm using MyTraffic2004. Maybe static aircraft would be the answer but I can't find any for the EZ-Scenery objects.Michael

1. If My Traffic gives reports of AI scheduled activity for each airport check that first. This makes sure that GA is scheduled to fill available spots there.2. To reserve parking spots for GA only check the size (radius) insuring it is small enough to restrict it to small aircraft. I think you can use the LISTS menu item in AFCAD to report this.3. You can get static GA aircraft if you wish in the file gaplane1.zip over in the flightsim.com scenery object library for plascement with E-Z Scenery. Do not install these in AFCAD parking spots.

Download GA-Traffic from the AVSIM library. You can use it to populate all of your airports with whatever type of GA aircraft you wish. Not only can you choose the type of planes you prefer but the program will generate logical flight plans for each aircraft type; 172s will fly TnG patterns to emulate training flights, 208s are used for flights similar to those of an air taxi, and 182s and Mooneys get flights consistent with those of a private plane. This may sound compliacted but the progam automates these tasks and it is quite easy to use. Markus Brunner developed an excellent program to do just what you have in mind and more. R-
