Hi .... recently ran through the quick set-up and all the components installed ... however no sign of any live traffic

.... for example YSSY no sign of Qantas traffic, which I'd think in RL would be all over the place .... have UTL installed

so assume the minimal traffic I see is courtesy of it .... running P3D 4.2 on W10 with a purchased RealTraffic licence and using

default Baron 58 as recommended as my vehicle/BVAI planes showing up as add-on) ....(unclear as to whether runnng the Sim should automatically

trigger the app!) ....

Depending where you live (for example, the other side of the world from Australia), are you running Real Traffic with the historic time set appropriately?

Hi Alan,

You say you ran through the quick set up, but did you install the BVAI package?  UTL is not part of the Quick install procedure (you can use that too, but that needs more installation work)

Please post your  PSXseeconTraffic.log here.

Well everything works ok. At Kennedy airport you had 25 live aircraft, at Sydney just 2... It all depends on the time of day. Besides that some areas seems to have more aircraft in Real Traffic then other areas. You can always check it against FlightRadar24.

You can also change the range limitation parameters to get more aircraft.

Just try again at different airports at different times of thevday. Try London Heathrow for instance or Amsterdam Schiphol.

OK that's good to know .... will try out obvious hubs such as Schipol and see how that goes .... what I haven't quite got my head round is time differences, the historic slider and setting system time etc. ...... ...is this workable?? ....I wish to sample Sydney at 10AM (local time) Monday of this week so I go there and set sim to that time .... then set up that time using the historic slider?? .... also, does the 'SAVE' button at the bottom of the RealTraffic GUI have anything to do with the slider???

Yes that works flawlessly.

You only have to set the time in RealTraffic, changing the time in the sim is not needed unless of course you want the correct day light, but it works also without setting the time in the sim..

The SAVE button has nothing to do with the slider (it saves your settings of the check boxes, host and port).
