Still wrong weather

Featured Replies

I can’t for the life of me figure out what is going on with VOX and the ATIS weather. Every time I tune to an ATIS whether for departure or on approach, it always gives the same weather. Winds are always calm and most of the time it is using the wrong runways. The weird thing is when tuning the ATIS for departure, the green bar readout at the top is correct, but the voice is not reading that METAR. It usually has the correct ALSTG or within .01”, but VIS is always 62NM (not sure why), no clouds, and winds calm. Anyway else have this issue? I am running 4.2, AS, REX SF for weather add-ons. Has anyone else run into this issue for weather? I’m getting to the point where I know this software isn’t for me much longer because of the issues, but enjoy the ability to practice the verbal comms.

not had your experience/s, but occasionally "weird" weather discrepancies between vox atis & sim (not calm though).

a re-enable seems to do the trick ..... I believe it helps to make sure your weather is loaded well before starting vox .

there was one instance where the arrival atis was misquoting qnh, but approach had it correct ?
