Radio Auto tune

Featured Replies

I use PROATC X and when I get the instruction to contact a specific frequency ...the radio autotune it.

Is it possible to have it non automatic?

thank you

Auto tuning is not something we do. You need to check PROATC options if there is something in there.

Yeah. Turn off whatever function is auto-tuning.

The NGX doesn't do that. Not sure how it would, honestly. The freq change is something PROATC is instructing, so it is logical to assume it is the cause.

Ok,

just for you to know, in PROATC X I have the option Copilot serve COM radios.

In another complex aircraft (Majestic Q400) it does not affect also the pilot radio.

Probably in the NGX it does it

So turn this off.

Can't answer for how they've set their system up, but ours sets/reads whatever the COM freq variable is in the sim itself. If something else updates that variable, then it will show on our aircraft as well.

Most planes will.
