Thanks I have changed the lines that help with texture loading more quickly

MaxRegionsPurgePerFrame=1

and in the terrain section UseGlobalTerrainView=True

Does it help in any way at all?

Mike

useglobalterrainview true will get rid of the slow loading of the models and textures when looking around or switching views. The max regions per frame I am investigating but performance is better my p3d default setting was 34

In Prepar3D v4.2 the default value for MaxRegionsPurgePerFrame is 16....which, to date, I have never attempted to change.
