I guess it's possible but it would be a custom job and I'm not sure where you'd put it.  The screen is too big.  The Flight1 430/650 are a perfect fit and the aircraft configuration options have a selection that automatically installs it into the aircraft in working order.

Dan,

Yes, you are right, screen is big.

I wish I purchased 430/650.

Thanks for your reply.

I highly recommend selecting the radio only / no GPS option in the DC6 and doing all your navigation by either following roads (I follow roads IFR) or using the VORs and ADF.  This really adds to the immersion of the experience.  I cannot explain it, but I am always smiling after each DC6 flight.  Give it a try.  User SkyVector's VFR or Lo Enroute charts to navigate... it's great.

I have now 750-650. I have to learn how to install over DC-6 Garmin. Then fun will start. Lo Enroute charts to navigate is the way to go...

Install with the Flight 1 installer. Start P3D and load DC6 and select the GTN650 from the options.  That should be all there is to it.

I'm working with a very limited memory here so be advised you should be asking or looking in the GTN support forum.  The last time I used the GTN650 in the DC6 was before P3Dv4 released, but I recall the trick was knowing where the ON/OFF click spot was on the in-panel view.  I think this is easy to find in their support forum, my poor memory is that the click spot is on the bezel below the PshNav lettering. Give that a try and then check in with Flight1 GTN support.

Problem solved by its self. No idea how happened. Now I have DC6 A and B has GTN650 on panel.🙂
