Hey!

What makes an AI aircraft following the planned way?

I have an ai aircraft that does not follow the planned way, but just keeps on flying straight away and dis appering at last.

There are a number of reasons why an AI aircraft will not land at the specified destination airport in it's flight plan and which will then, after one or more rounds, fly away into the blue yonder, eventually disappearing. The most common one is when an addon destination airport/airfield does not have a default (APnnnnnn.bgl) version with approaches, etc. combined with high mesh scenery (mountain) in the immediate area and which interferes with normal approaches.

The best way to solve such issues is to change the wind direction at the destination airport/airfield so that AI and your user aircraft will be vectored to approach from the other side, where hopefully, there is no high ground.

It is also possible that you have Afcad or ADE errors at your destination airport/airfield.

What makes it happen are inappropriate flight dynamics.

Not a Lockheed Electra by any chance. That's the only one I recall having that problem with. But if you are using a non-AI aircraft as AI it could be another.

The solution is to use  flight dynamics from an AI aircraft known to work OK that has a similar performance.

More information is needed. Where is this AI flying from/to.? What is this AI aircraft? (model). What addon scenery (if any) do you have for it's departure/arrival.... the list goes on.

I often get this problem while using flyable aircraft as AI. Most a/c work well with boeing737-400.air file. This file is mainly used by CalClassic for its very numerous AI propliner.
