I am looking forward to buy either standalone or steam version, I think both of them are equally good except for standalone version is 15€ cheaper and you don't need steam to be running. Of course, supporting the developers is also important.

Prefer DVD im old, last resort would be steam, adds another level of problems, other option would be digital download.

Digital download from Laminar Research - for the least hassle and supporting the devs.

There are also some other benefits as sometimes getting faster access to new beta versions.

Get a collectors item physical copy as well later on if you like it as much as I think you will!
