This is the build that I thought would make P3D V4 run smoothly with popular addons (ORBEX - PMDG - Aerosoft - REX etc.) . I'm still confused with the graphic engine but from what I read the GTX 1070 is doing well with many people. Your thoughts simmers.

You should be very pleased with the performance you get from this beast.  You should be able to run with most sliders wide open...

Setup is solid.  1070 will suffice, but go with whatever you can afford, obviously it would perform even better with a 1070ti, 1080 or 1080ti

If I can give you a council get 2 different ssds: a 970 evo or pro for the os and 1 tb evo for P3d. The pc likes pretty good. Happy building and happy flying.
