Brewster F3A-1 Corsair restored!

Recommended Posts

In case anyone missed this, there is now exactly one Brewster F3A-1 Corsair restored to flying condition.  This very rare Corsair crashed in the swamps near Cherry Point, North Carolina in 1944.  Significant portions of this aircraft were salvaged in 1990, then a legal battle ensued as the USN laid claim to it.  Ultimately, the USN lost that battle, now it has been completely rebuilt.
