Tokyo Narita not visible at night

Featured Replies

Hello I have another issue in dealing with FSX's crap. Tokyo Narita airport is visible during the day but gone at night. I just discovered this last night as I arrived from Denver. I have HIGHMEXFIX=1 in the CFG file but the airport is still gone. All the others appear fine at night. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Let's be a little, tiny bit more careful in choosing the words you use in your posts.  I'll leave it as "you are coming close".  Now, is the Tokyo Narita airport default or an addon?  Are you just seeing no lights or totally no airport?

Can you start a flight at night there and does it work?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

default tokyo narita and I can start a flight at night and it does work but it just irritates me that Narita airport is not visible.

Yes I can see lights, jetways, AI planes, cars, buildings, trees, and the tower is lit up. It is also worth noting that the airport is visible during dawn, dusk, and day time

My laptop is on full brightness and all the scenery sliders are on high

Any chance you can post a screenshot of what you see when Narita  can't be seen?

I'll try. How do you post a screenshot?

Any chance you would be able to help without the screenshot? I see everything except the tokyo narita terminal buildings. The jetways are there but the buildings are not.

Make sure your Scenery Complexity slider is full right,

Here is a tutorial on how to post and embed your screenshots.

Thank you very much! If I can, expect a screenshot in the next 6 hours!

See if this helps. I uploaded on google+ and here is the link to my photo.

If you would like, I can also upload what it looks like during the day

I honestly don't think the scenery complexity is an issue. All the other airports are visible at both day and night except Tokyo Narita on my current settings. And I can see Narita during day, dawn, and dusk just not at night.

I put the slider full right but Tokyo Narita is still not visible at night.
