August 15, 20187 yr The Avro Vulcan's delta-wing design (for a sub-sonic aircraft) was seemingly a revolutionary one, but, most of all, the shape of this plane does appear rather "cool-looking"! The aircraft is noted to be in successful continuous operation for a period of nearly 30 years, which is a testament to its design. Here are some screenshots of the Vulcan flying along the northern (oceanic) border of Spain (Bay of Biscay) from San Sebastian (LESO) to La Coruna (LECO). There are several big and small coastal towns along this route, but only rolling hills. The higher mountains of the Cantabrian range lie to the south of the route. Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoy these images. (IRIS/MSE/REX)
August 16, 20187 yr Nice pics. Probably the loudest aeroplane I've ever heard in my life. BAe used to test fly them often from an airfield near me years ago and it was always popular at UK airshows, where you could guarantee two things would happen; its thunderous noise would set off pretty much ever car alarm on the airfield and would make small children cry. Lots of nice pics of the new one from JF coming out soon for FSX and P3D here: https://www.justflight.com/product/avro-vulcan-b-mk2 Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
