DR400 has been updated!

Yes, it's been always a nice addition to the already good Aerofly FS 2 fleet.

Yes, nice addition indeed. I am not a fan of the other default GA/VFR aircrafts (not IPACS fault: I just don't like the planes themselves) but this one is fun. Now I am not stuck with the C172 anymore to do my low and slow flights over the Netherlands. ;)

Is it normal for the DR400 to respond different to power input than for instance the C172? When I let go of the elevator in the C172 and add power, the plane goes up, when I lower power the plane goes down. The DR400 goes either way: if it is going up a bit and I lower power it goes up even more, when it is going down and I add power it's going down harder. No matter what power I use it tends to keep on going where it was going. Also the elevator up is very sensitive: just a slight pull on my joystick and the plane jumps up.

I am just curious if this is realistic behaviour...? It's a nice little plane but I wonder how good it actually is simulated?

Well, it's main reason for existence is as an example of building a plane and using the creation tools rather than as a refined user flyable craft.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Yes, I know, that's what I meant to say: is it an actual simulation of the plane of mostly an example? A lot of people love this plane but if it's just an example and not an more or less accurate simulation then why are they so excited about it...?

Cause its the best low and slow sightseeing plane, with a huge panoramic view area that fills the slot of the kite in fsx. People would use it a lot less if Aerofly had a Cub........

I suspect for many, the R22 will probably replace it, for slowly exploring airports and etc.

Ah, ok, so it's more about the kind of plane it is than the actual simulation of it.
