Hey guys. Hope all is well. At the end of July BAV was updating their web site which should according to them take a couple of weeks at most. To date nothing is working and the forum isn’t either. Anybody have any news on the update.

Hi Mark,

BAV is still very much around - the refurbishment is well under way, albeit taking a little longer than originally anticipated.

The forum is certainly up, running and active via the link on the holding page and members are encouraged to take part in beta testing the new ACARS client, downloadable via a link on the forum.

Is it possible to join BAV at this point?

Hi @Bob_Z, 

No, recruitment is closed during the refurbishment. We'll very shortly be entering a beta period for current members, then once we're satisfied everything including the 'back office' stuff necessary to handle recruitment and pilot management etc is working properly recruitment will be reopened. I would anticipate this to be in a few weeks or so provided no unwelcome surprises are discovered.

Keep an eye on the main website holding page and the Facebook page for updates!
