GTN 750 stays black (resolved)

Featured Replies

Ok, I installed the 750 and the trainer. Then I added the 750 as a popup in a plane, but the 750 stays black when I open it.

Latest version of the program and P3Dv4.

Additional info: When I start the trainer, it says LoadLibrary faied to load cdp.dll. GetLastError:8

I bought and downloaded the latest version of your GTN 750/650 gauge. Then I manually downloaded the latest trainer as you suggested, since the automatic download from within the launcher didn't work.

Trainer installed fine, but when I want to turn it on, it crashes with an alert box saying: LoadLibrary faied to load cdp.dll. GetLastError:8

Also, when I integrate  the GTN in a plane (2D), it stays black with "starting" in the left lower corner.

Please tell me what to do.

P3DV4 latest version - Win10 home - but this should be without importance, at least for the trainer.

Hi,

First, thank you for your feedback. We've just re-uploaded the installers so that they are now properly downloading the Garmin GTN trainer.

Now, can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see User's Manual for file/path).

Ok, One problem seems to be solved: You have to install ALL the trainers, not only the GTN to make the Garmin Trainer work!

Now lets see if this helps in the sim as well...

This one is peculiar and we've been testing this scenario. We'll cross check again though.

Gauge works now.

That is good to hear, thank you!

Can you please detail a little more what corrections have you made, so that it may benefit other customers challenged with the same situation?

Certainly. I have installed ALL trainers, that fixed the problem.
