another question is:

 

In the plugin there is a possibility to "display tooltips"

If I click on it, apparently nothing happens.
What is the purpose of this?

 

With this checked a brief description of the use of a cockpit button, lever, switch or control is displayed wherever the mouse cursor is hovering over the aforementioned items. Not all aircraft have tooltips in their configuration.

Like JustanotherPilot said! It is a little helper when confused about a button/knob, also, it is supposed to be 'accessibility' compliant.
