Certain Procedures Crashing Plane (Reproducible)

Featured Replies

When certain procedures are activated in the CDU, the plane essentially crashes. The sim does not crash, but the plane accepts no input and all of the displays stop matching what the aircraft is doing. The plane essentially bricks in the air and forces the user to reset the sim to resolve the issue.

This is tested and reproducible with this specific approach procedure into KSAN: LOC27.
When the LOC27 approach is activated, the 748 simulation essentially crashes, while the P3D continues to run.

Here is a clip from https://www.twitch.tv/chillywillies testing the bug:

Then - and I apologize a bit for being blunt, but - this needs to go directly to support.

This is a user-to-user forum. Another user might be able to say "yeah, I see it, too" but in order to get it in our hands to go chase, it needs to go to support so it can get specific tracking on it. Here, this post could be buried in a couple of minutes from the high volume of traffic we're getting right now with stuff that other users can actually help with (simple questions, manual points, etc.).

If it needs to be brought to our attention, it is extremely important that it goes directly to support.precisionmanuals.com, with every bit of information about steps to reproduce the issue that can be provided.

Thanks in advance for taking care of that!

No need to apologize. Support should have been the first place that I went with the info.
