Hi!

Is it possible to get metar reports using the FMC? I do that a lot in the maddog, FSL A320/A319 and the Q400. very useful before landing.

In the 747-8 i see theres a "WX" section but its grayed out and i dont know why

This is a function of PMDG Global Flight Operations, along with TAFs, (automated) gate requests for airports around the world, amongst other things.
