September 28, 20187 yr Hey i fly the 747 now for i think 2Weeks but i could not find the GPWS test button are im blind? or is there no button?? and if there is where can i start it?
September 28, 20187 yr You assume there is a GPWS test button. Don't assume. Check the FCOM where you find there isn't one. Same with TCAS test, there isn't one of those either. Systems are self checking and maintenance as responsibility for system integrity. Try FCOM 15.10.13 Dan Downs KCRP

Try FCOM 15.10.13 Dan, as far as the pilots are concerned you are quite correct (as usual 😊) about there being no TCAS Test button in the -8, but there is one in the 744 and it is located on the Transponder panel.
