Acars login required [SOLVED]

Recommended Posts

Hello Gentlemen,

I don't post on this forum very often, but I hope you can give me some help with this issue. I just installed the new version of the Queen (747-400 V3) and everything seems to work fine until I try to select a flight from my saved flightplans. That never was a problem, but it is now unfortunately.

6OUlaoT.jpgInstead of REQUEST FLIGHT it states SELECT FLIGHT and if I do select the flight I get the following text on my CDU: DATALINK IS NOT READY, ACARS LOGIN REQUIRED. And that's it, I cannot load a flight, no route appears on my LEGS page.

Version number is: 3.00.9008

Sim is FSX SE

Thanks in Advance for your help.

With kind regards, Marc Lohman

Hi Marc... some things have changed...

https://support.precisionmanuals.com/news/51/a-couple-of-gotcha-items-to-learn-about-in-the-pmdg-747-8.aspx

and the Intro Manual

😉

Cheers

Edit:

And yes, the links above are for the 747-8. But this change includes the 744 as well as it is done for the implementation of Global Flight Ops that will be released shortly... (hopefully)

it  will   make  sure  you fill in the  3  entries  that is  required   before  you log  in the  acars,  fill in your  origin  and  destination  and  flight  number     which  can  be  any  numbers  you like

Likewise,Marc, I too thank your input, because as a long-term 747-400X, then the OoTS II both in FSX-SE and P3D, having updated the 747-400 not the -8i, I too got stumped when I went to load the PFPX-created Flightplan. Until I spotted the OP's post, in time.

And you to Peter, thanks.

And I was referring to Ephedrin, originally, but as you are also called Marc, then same thanks.

Just trying all that now in the Queen at WIII to Perth

Thanks, gents, en route to Perth. Better warn my family there to get that baramundi cooked🤣

Pity no developer, more so BDO Aviation, has updated their Soekarno-Hatta Intl(Jakarta) to P3Dv4
