Un-checked fast scan, restarted the EFB, and restarted the sim.

Un-check fast scan: not required as explained in detail (affects ORBX scenery only)

Restart EFB: not required because the affected EFB application (OPT) restarts automatically once the scan is completed

Restart the sim: not required. The OPT database is immediately available (e.g. if you go into OPT>PERFORMANCE and select the airport the updated runways/lengths will be there).

However, if during the scan the updated airport was already set as ORIGIN or DESTINATION in the RTE page, the old data will still be used to draw the ND airport moving map. In this case you should re-enter the airport ICAO code to the ORIGIN or DESTINATION field of the RTE page so that the new data are loaded for the airport map (if this doesn't work enter any different ICAO first and then the updated airport ICAO).

Now this may have been my issue.  Had everything set up prior to the scan.

I'll keep this mind for next time!

Thanks!
