I just had to reply to this statement; respectfully is my intention.

To suggest in 2019 that bandwidth issues are the cause of VATSIM's poor quality comms is IMO ridiculous. I was able to get clear comms with programs like Roger Wilco and others in the mid-late 90's with a 256kbps DSL connection, all while simultaneously connecting with a dozen other players in an online game.  My current cable modem speeds are roughly 1000 times higher. Voice comms take extremely little bandwidth.
