August 19, 200619 yr Does anyone know a good source of aircraft performance files? I'd like to fill in all my missing a/c kneeboard files, so that I have V1, VR speeds and so on to hand, such as is supplied for the default MS aircraft. I can find bits and pieces through a Google search, but it's all very messy and very time consuming, cutting & pasting bits from one site or another to make up a file. Maybe before I do this someone knows of a site that would be a bit less labour intensive? Thanks,Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
August 19, 200619 yr Martin: try this onehttp://www.myairplane.com/databases/airspec/I'll see if I can find more. Hope this helps. "... speed ... is the only reason for flying." - Clyde V. Cessna
August 20, 200619 yr Thanks - I also use this site:http://www.airliners.net/info/Neither (as far as I can see) give V1 information etc., however. So far, I can only find this by doing a specific Google search for each aircraft. Maybe soemthing better will turn up ..M. Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)

August 23, 200619 yr Author While we are collecting sites, I really like this one. Tons of info. I don't know how he gets it all written.http://www.pilotfriend.comThomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
August 29, 200619 yr I can certainly extract information from these sites and make up my own files for FS9. Thanks. If and when I manage to complete the lot, I'll upload them to SVSIM file library.M. :-) Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
August 30, 200619 yr Thomas that is a good site and I particularly like the aero engine section, great story on the evolution and history of aircraft engines. Lots of detail and illustrations but not so much as to make it an accademic bore.
