August 24, 200619 yr I noticed some days ago an Aeropostale route scenery arrived in the file library. I was curious, since I tried to make the same work some years ago, for FS98, when I had a little more time to dedicate to this passion.Alexander Belov, in the readme file, is so kind to express his gratitude to me and Claude Schmidt for the inspiration. Boys, I was touched by his words. I didn't think someone could be inspired by my work. And after all this time. I'm happy to have made something appreciable for the FS community. I guess this is an example of how this "hobby" can be much more than a sterile individual interest - something of mutual and reciprocal incentive to create, instead. Thanks, Alexander. Maybe someday I'll be inspired from your work and I'll go back to make some new historical scenery...Francesco Cozzi(BTW, who is interested can see my old works at Flightsim.com)
August 24, 200619 yr Well, Francesco, I have never been so inspired or so enthusiastic about any scenery as much as your Aeropostale stuff. It was so much fun, and so interesting, and so important to aviation in general. It is unfortunate that most people do not really care about the truly heroic phase in aviation that you reproduced so well in that scenery. So, many thanks for doing it.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
August 25, 200619 yr Thank you for your words Feliz. We'll have to wait for an historical simulator probably ;-)RegardsFrancesco
August 25, 200619 yr Author Francesco,I loved your Cassablanca scenery. That and other Bogey movies are among my personal favorites. You captured the feeling of being there. I wonder how much trouble it would be to update it for FS9? I can only wish I had the talent much less the time to try it myself. Thank you Francesco for all you've done to improve our simin' lives (which improves our lives, period!)God bless you Francesco and all of you developers!Earl
