October 19, 20187 yr I note that some flight plans (XP11) have P2AFPL appended to the origin and destination airport (i.e., KMDW KIND P2AFPL.fms) in the file name. I'm just curious what this means? Thanks! Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale

October 21, 20187 yr Author OK - thanks. I note that, if I export before getting clearance it doesn't do that. It just has the origin and destination airports. So, it's best to file, get clearance and then export? Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
October 21, 20187 yr Commercial Member That would ensure that the export matches the cleared flight plan, so generally it's a good idea. In some aircraft, you will still have to set the procedures (SID, STAR, Approach) manually after importing the flight plan.
