October 29, 20187 yr Hi, I have a problem with throttle lever engine # 3 on the B747-800. While all levers are in idle, # 3 lever moves to about 50% and stays there. I can NOT get it back to idle. I am using a Saitek X52 Pro HOTAS in P3Dv4. I am NOT using FSUIPC for throttle axis control. https://www.flickr.com/photos/141330124@N05/shares/56sY56 The same problem in the B747-400! Thanks for help Edited October 29, 20187 yr by Juergen Brgds Juergen Mader

Check your axis assignments for an errant 3rd engine axis. If it sets itself right to 50%, look for one of the rotary knobs on the throttles to be it - they have a center detent that you're probably leaving it in. Kyle Rodgers
October 29, 20187 yr Author Kyle, You won, I buy the drinks next time I see you. Exactly as you stated, there was an erroneous "ENGINE 3 Axis", which I deleted and the throttles are rock solid. Thanks for help and quick response Brgds Juergen Mader
