November 1, 20187 yr Hello, I just installed FS Crew and made my first test flight. I assigned main button and main panel window to my joystick and both worked well. I also assigned the secondery button to my joystick as described in the manual to the "propeller - Segestellung (German) as well to a keyboard command. But this button and the assigned keyboard command are not working. I got no response from the software (e,g, "clear left", "notity the cabin crew to prepare for landing" and so on) What could be the problem ? Thanks for help Alfred
November 2, 20187 yr Commercial Member You're using Button Control right? When you press the Secondary Button, something will only happen if you see text in the "Secondary" window on the Main Panel. If you see text in the "Secondary Window" on the Main Panel and nothing happens, try re-assigning your Secondary Button. I use the keyboard. I use the "V" key. B. January 20, 20197 yr I have a similar issue but in the PMDG 737 NGX Reboot V3 and setting the Secondary Button for voice use. In the manual thats supplied, both the Soft Mute and Secondary Button are mapped to "Propeller Sync (On/Off)" in FSX Controls. I assume it's a typo and the Secondary Button should be another control ???? Can you please help with that ??? Thanks Edited January 20, 20197 yr by gstokes
January 20, 20197 yr Commercial Member No, it's right. The 'Secondary' Button is only used in Button Control. Soft Mute, the same assignment, is only used in Voice Control. Therefore, it's okay for them to share the same assignment. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
