November 4, 20187 yr Wiper blades have been known to get out of position and unuseable when operated at a high airspeed. I know this is hard to believe, but they have even been known to jump out of position and end up pointing forward away from the nose on some types of aircraft (e.g. B707). Bertie Goddard
