August 30, 200619 yr I for the life of me cannot figure out why I am having constant CTD when I only fly with the PMDG 737-700.I have almost every payware heavy on my machine and none give me a CTD.It is usually occurs when I start my initial descent.I am going to uninstall it and hope for better results with FSX.I am just wondering if there is a slow memory leak .... For those of u who will ask me I have tried all the obvious fixes to see if I can remedy this.ThanksAndy
August 30, 200619 yr I don't have a solution Andy. But, the PMDG 737 isn't going to work with FSX. Sadly, it's reached the end of the trail with FS9. The good news, though, is that PmDG are working on a new 737 that should be a real winner.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. August 30, 200619 yr Author Are you by chance running Ultimate Terrain - USA? Also, are you running the FSGenesis Landclass as well (with the UT-USA Sandwich patch)? Two things I've done this week to rid my problems of CTD and OOM errors on PMDG long-hauls this week and they may help you. I would get numerous CTD as long as any part of UT was activated while flying any of the PMDG complicated aircraft, especially more than a few hours. So far with all UT (everything) enabled the following have, for the first time ever, allowed me to complete a PMDG 747 flight from KLAX to KATL and then KATL to EHAM.In the terrain.cfg file, change all MaskClassMap=3 and MaskClassMap=1 entries to MaskClassMap=0 (obviously backup the terriain.cfg file first). This stopped my CTD that had no error boxes. If running UT with the FSGenesis sandwich patch, uncheck the UTCITY and FSGLC folders in the scenery.cfg to (Active = false). This so far has stopped my OOM CTD when on or near final. I think it some sort of landclass limit or something wrong with the tranparent patch on the UT landclass files that are copied and patched in the UTCITY folder. Basically I'm just running UT-USA landclass in this fashion.Good luck. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
