Repaint crashes P3D V4 when trying to load it

Featured Replies

Anyone know why a repaint would be crashing the sim?

Here's the aircraft file section I added. I'm pretty sure this is all correct:

[fltsim.8]
title=Falcon50 G-FLCN
sim=Falcon50
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=G-FLCN
kb_checklists=Falcon50_check
kb_reference=Falcon50_ref
atc_id=G-FLCN
atc_airline=Dassault
ui_manufacturer="Dassault"
ui_type="Falcon 50"
ui_variation="G-FLCN"
ui_typerole="Business Jet"
ui_createdby="Flysimware"
description="The Dassault Falcon 50 first prototype flew in November 1976 and deliveries of the trijet began in 1979. It had a new supercritical wing design and was the first business jet capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean with legal fuel reserves. It had both a wing span and length of approximately 61 feet. It was originally equipped with three Garrett TFE 731-3 turbofan engines which gave it a range of over 3000 nautical miles, a typical cruise speed of 430 knots, and a ceiling of 45,000 feet. It could take off in slightly less than 4700 feet and land in less than 2700 feet. Production ended in 2008."

And here it is in the GUI displaying correctly. But when you go to load a flight P3D V4 just bombs out:

Problem solved, it was something to do with the P3D V4 config file - I trashed that and then it worked.

Great, result. I must admit I'd raised eyebrows when I read you having an issue as I consider you 'The Guru' for most issues🤣
