November 23, 20187 yr Follow up on this interesting and thankfully (any landing you can walk away from) flight Computers in aircraft, there needs to be an emergency dump procedure, so the pilots can land manually. Like in Wall-E, if you have to, choke the autopilot. I feel autopilots are hard on aircraft because they have no feel of the environment around them. They work in 3D, in reality we live in a 4D world--time is our friend in the sky, if you have the fuel.
