December 2, 20187 yr As the title says, I wonder in what engine is Flight made and can we somehow get that engine so we can develop our own content or it's still owned and kept by Microsoft? They don't use it anyway, right? Or it's held by another developer studio which I haven't heard of yet? Anyone has info? Thanks!
December 2, 20187 yr Flight was its own bespoke engine, a heavy evolution of Microsoft FSX/ESP. Edited December 2, 20187 yr by ckyliu ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

Maybe it's even better that we don't get any flight sim from them again. They robbed gamers with Flight Sim World and cancelled it. I guess I (We) will stick to MS Flight. It's still best compared to all.
February 24, 20197 yr Dovetail Games doesn't own it as far as I know, they just licensed it. MS still owns it.
