As for most sims in general it would be the same since most of them rely heavy on cpu power and especially for flightsim try to overclock as high as possible to get that 3 fps gain. December 20, 20187 yr 6-7% more fps going from 4.5 Ghz to 5.0 Ghz. So with a heavy scenery 30 would mean 32-33. I am running my 7940x with 8 cores for P3Dv4 at 4.8 Ghz. Even I have to admit that the 5 gigahertz I'm currently running is probably mostly for e-peen. But considering that I can do that at reasonable temperatures after delidding the processor, why not?
