Help with networking Pilot2ATC PTT button assignment

Featured Replies

Hello

Trust me I have tried to get Pilot2ATC on the client computer to pick up my yoke switch when I press it on the P3D (host computer), without success.

On the host computer using FSUIPC  Options and settings button tab, moving my switch is recognized by FSUIPC as Joystick 0 and

button 0, then I use Keysend 1-255 (Widefs) as recommended.

This where I need assistance, on the client computer. The wideClient.ini file is there any need to write under (User) Keysend1=123,16; Press F12 etc,

as I have no need to press F12, I require Joystick 0 button 0.

Back to P2A setup Btns tab, set PTT joystick,my joystick is not found or listed. But when I had Pilot2ATC installed

on the host computer the joystick button was located and was able to use it.

Would using SPAD next on the client computer work?

Thanks for helping

Using the FSUIPC method you must assign a key press and release on the client PC in the WideFS.ini file.  In the example in the User's Guide, the F12 key was used.  Pick any key you want.

[User]

KeySend1=123,16 ; Press F12

KeySend2=123,24 ; Release F12

UseSendInput=Yes

Then in Pilot2ATC, remove the PTT Button setting and set up the desired HotKey (F12 in the example) as the PTT HotKey, just below the PTT Joystick setting box in config.
