  1. Hi Rob Thanks for the quick response.. I did as instructed, even changing the port number to 4056 On both of my computers the 3 undermentioned files are the only ones I have installed.. MFS SimConnect client v 10.0.60905.0 MFS SimConnect client v 10.0.61259.0 MFS X Acceleration SDK I don't have MFS SimConnect client v 10.0.61242.0 Also on both computer I have installed Prepar3dv3 SDK Do I need this file ? I noticed you have these files installed M/S ESP 1.0 SDK M/S ESP SimConnect Client v 1.0.20.0 Do I need to install these files ? On both computers the firewall is turned off and so is the anti virus. On the client computer I changed the SimConnect.cfg and the WideClient.ini file to port 4056 Hopefully I can get it connected soon... Robert
  2. Hi there I have installed FSX and Prepar3dv3 on separate drives on my main computer. I have installed wideclient on my other computer (client). When I run FSX on the main computer and exe wideclient on the client computer it connects straight away...No problems.... But the opposite happens when I run Prepar3dv3...Waiting for connection... This is what I did with prepar3dv3.... I installed the prepar3dv3 SDK on both computers. I placed the SimConnect.xml and cfg files into the appropriate prepar3dv3 files... Both files have the IP address of the main computer, IPv4 protocol, IP address and port 9700. Now this is where I get confused, on the client computer there is a SimConnect.cfg file which wideclient uses to connect to FSX. Can I use this SimConnect cfg file to connect to prepar3Dv3 as the info is exactly the same. or do I create another Simconnect, cfg file and change the port number...perhaps With prepar3dv3 running on the main computer and you start wideclient on the client computer, how does wideclient connect to prepar3dv3...is it the ip address, port number etc... The latest FSUIPC is installed in both simulators.. Look I am no computer wizard, I have probably overlooked something simple, but I would appreciate some advice on solving my problem... Thanks Robert
  3. Hey Rob I have a pro license for P3D v2 will it cost me another USD199.00 for P3D v3? If this is correct, can ask for a refund for P3d v2 and use that refund to buy P3D v3, Will P3D v3 update P3D v2 or will you have to do a clean install? Why in this day and age is P3D v3 still 32bit (XPlane 64bit) surely LM with all their resources can make a 64bit flight sim. Look this is a massive upgrade and LM should be financially rewarded for their efforts and I do not have an issue with that. If I have too pay another USD199 on top of the USD199 I have already paid, That's a lot of money to invest, Hopefully it will be worth it, time will tell. PS When the dust settles I will make a decision whether to invest or not. Robert
  4. Thanks for the replies, my name is Robert, sorry about not following the right procedures, I was not sure how too add a post to the forum. but you learn something new everyday. Regards
