FUEL TEMP PRED message

Featured Replies

Anyone ever see this?  I was flying the -8F on a flight to Finland when I got this EICAS message then it went away on its own.

Me and a friend looked everywhere in the manuals but couldn't find a reference.

Thanks.

I haven't seen it yet, but you can find it on page 12.54 of the 747-8 QRH: Fuel temperature is predicted to be low after reserve transfer occurs.

Thanks!  I can't seem to ever find anything in those books.  I appreciate it.

When you open the manual, hit CTRL + F on your keyboard, and search for the message. It will pop up.

That, or you can always hit the CHKL button over on the right side of the MCP, which will bring up the checklist, which explains it.

Thanks Kyle, I’m an word not allowed dolt because I was looking in the -400.

And I didn’t think about the checklist.  Thanks
