FSW Learjet35A NAV2 switch cycling (resolved)

Featured Replies

Now I have the PC12 under some control with the GTN750, I am now trying out the GTN750 with the FSW Learjet35A. The first thing I notice is the NAV2 switch is constantly cycling on/off. When I use the standard non GTN version, I do not have this Nav2 cycling event.

What is causing this?

Now in flight on ILS approach and I see both NAV 1 stuttering and 2 switches cycling?

Hi,

default GTN settings enable "Connect CDI Mode to NAV/GPS" which makes the GTN controlling the switch. Obviously, this aircraft gauges are trying to do the same. You might want to unselect the option to make both the mode and the switch independent.

Thanks Jean-Luc. Ummm, now there was some 'trick' to get the options up again.....Will check the manual tomorrow...

OK worked it out.....Ummm, on this startup of the Lear35A, it no longer cycles the NAV1/2 ?? Anyway Jean-Luc, if and when it does it again, I will have a head statrt looking for the issue....
