washed out textures..

Featured Replies

I`ve got to say I am pretty pleased with the demo! I am getting #### performance, but I expected that with my current hardware..however, maybe you can answer this tdragger; why is everyone getting washed out textures..every screenshot I have seen so far dont have the sharp new textures? Also I have not seen the 10 fold increase in autogen objects..you think this is getting better in the final build?

Maybe people haven't upped the setting. Could also be due to a bug with the detail texture.Autogen: still not finished yet.

My textures look superb down low at VFR altitudes with no apparent blurriness. However, up at 15,000 feet or so, the ground textures never seem to load in and remain blurry even when looking straight down. Any idea on which particular setting may correct this?

Hi,i also get washed out textures after a short time. I have most display sliders on max except water (high 1x). Is there a setting for "hi-res" that I've missed? Or do you mean setting the display sliders to max?BTW, water on 2x is fantastic! Thanks,
