CRJ and logbook

Featured Replies

Someone had posted that the log book was greatly improved and I agree, however I did a flight today in the CRJ and did one landing but the logbook shows two landings. What would have caused this? On another issue I notice when I land the CRJ a buzzer warning, like a stall warning comes on on touch down...Anyone else heard this and is it a bug or a bad landing technique?...The landing seemed ok to me.ThanksBill

<Reminds me of an old flight instructor joke... ;)

Did you bounce back into the air then land?On another issue I notice when I land the CRJ a buzzer warning, like a stall warning comes on on touch down...Anyone else heard this and is it a bug or a bad landing technique?...The landing seemed ok to me.You may well have been at the onset of a stall as you touched down.

I did not bounce on either occasion..was quite a smooth landing...but even if there was a small bounce, to credit me with two landings is a stretch...at least in real life my instructor only signed for one :-)As for the warning sound I still cant figure it out...I am going to have to read the approach specs and make sure I have the correct v speeds and pitch angle to flareThanks allBill
