I love this plane, but is it me, or is the alternate air valve missing? There is a label in the cockpit on the left side under the instrument panel for ALTERNATE STATIC but I don't see anything there and I've crawled around the cockpit with the Lorby Flashlight (http://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html). It's mentioned numerous times in the Diamond AIRPLANE FLIGHT MANUAL DA 62. I haven't posted this to Vertx support yet, I thought I'd see if someone here could straighten me out first.

 

Mounted on the outside of the pedestal looking at the rudder trim knob on the left is the emergency gear extension handle. on the opposing side of the pedestal is the alternate air source.  The cover is identical but black instead of red, and it is un-labled.  Click the handle to toggle it open or closed.

No problem, Lorby;s flashlight tool is super handy but with a dark handle and no labeling I would have a hard time spotting it with a flare!

I emailed Sean at Vertx about it.
