FSX is for future or is it? ACES team, please response

Featured Replies

is this FS X code based on FS9. only 32-bit support and possible direct x 10 patch.if u want the simulator to get better via addons etc. this simulator should support at least features that are allready available.simulator X should support at least 64-bit processors, multiple-cores (well they are supported) and direct x 10. what is the meaning of using software which does not support 64-bit code ( os 64-bit (vista) and 64-bit cores now and in the future).ACES team are you going to add support for 64-bits?

They've already said there won't be a 64-bit version. - Doug

It's already been said that there is not going to be a 64-bit version of FSX. 64-bit processors are still relatively new, and the installed base of 64-bit processors is not yet big enough to warrant the expense on a 64-bit version of Flightsim at this time. I'll bet FS11 will be 64-bit, but for now people with 64-bit computers are going to have to wait.....

Wow, I'm sorry but this is a really ignorant, out of touch post.
