Viva Scenery bgl's

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to install Pete & Sid's Viva Airports Scenery for Canada BC and Alaska into FSX and have all the required object bgl's except 3 of them. Does anybody know what zip file these bgl's are part of (ez-ga hangers ss.bgl, generic hangers.bgl and tree objects.bgl).

I've looked everywhere but can't locate them. By the way this scenery is for FS9 but should install I hope if I leave out the traffic bgl's.

Hope somebody can help.

Thanks,

It probably is but I don't know which zip file. You need to download a load of object library bgl files for this scenery to work. The bgl files in the scenery are only placement bgl files I think. It has taken nearly 2 days to locate them but I can't locate these 3 bgl files. In the ReadMe file the designers give you the required bgl file names needed but not the zip files that these bgl files are contained in. Some of the zip files are the same name as the bgl file so they were easy to locate but others were located in zip files with a totally different name.

I've installed pss01 and it works in FSX at least in some of the airports that I checked. I deleted out the traffic files before I installed and activated as these will cause issues if not converted to FSX format.

The scenery will work without the missing object library files. The objects just wont display and the scenery will be incomplete. It's possible that you may never know if it's displaying completely unless you know what should be there.

Anyway, it would be great if I could find the missing 3 files but as I've said the scenery will work without them.
