January 20, 20197 yr Evening All, I've just completed a fresh re-install of P3D after re-installing my OS. However, after loading into P3D I have discovered I cannot see the Virtual Cockpit option or any outside views such as Sport view. I haven't changed any settings in the CFG yet. I've tried numerous aircraft with the same result. I've also tried deleting the CFG, but to no avail. Any ideas apart from re-installing again which I would like to avoid? Also been posted on the P3D forum, Thanks, James Roberts James Roberts

January 21, 20197 yr Do you use a scenario? If so delete the 2 scenario files. Cheers AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER
January 23, 20197 yr Check the file mentioned in Lorby's post for lines that say "cyclehidden" in the sections pertinent to the views you are missing. Delete, or comment out the lines to restore the view. ( obviously deleting the file as Lorby recommended and letting p3dv4 rebuild it is easier, but if you have saved any of your view settings they will be reset to default.) See the table in the following link. Find cyclehidden in the left column and read the description of that setting in the second column. It matches your problem exactly. http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv2/LearningCenter/utilities/camera_configuration/camera_configuration.html And I think the camera.cfg file remains between installs unless you use the utility LM provides to delete the user-generated content after you uninstall.
