  1. Sorry for the late update. Deleted the camera.cfg file, and all was fine! Thanks!
  2. Evening All, I've just completed a fresh re-install of P3D after re-installing my OS. However, after loading into P3D I have discovered I cannot see the Virtual Cockpit option or any outside views such as Sport view. I haven't changed any settings in the CFG yet. I've tried numerous aircraft with the same result. I've also tried deleting the CFG, but to no avail. Any ideas apart from re-installing again which I would like to avoid? Also been posted on the P3D forum, Thanks, James Roberts
  3. I do have 4 license keys however? 🤨
  4. I've just received a second email with my download link and key. 😀 I didn't put it through twice, patience! 😎
  5. I've just checked my emails. I have a transaction receipt? Can't log into my account due to the website being really slow. By the looks of it the payment has been processed?
  6. Evening, Was just in the middle of purchasing the new 747-8, however the page timed out after entering my credit card details and was presented with the following page message. Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out /ProductCart/pc/gwReturn.asp The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools. I just want to make sure I won't be charged again if i was to complete the form again, I understand the website is overwhelmed no doubt. Thanks, James Roberts
  7. Disregard. Got it working. Uninstalled and reinstaller, running load manager as Windows 7 and all seems well.
  8. Thanks for all your suggestions and help! Seems to be running a lot smoother now! I have come across a new issue however, I don't be able to be able to see undockable windows, e.g PFD, FMS etc. I can see them if i guess where they are and click 'undock window'? Any ideas?
  9. Evening all, Me again! So I finally bit the bullet and went from FSX to P3DV4. However, after messing around with the settings and reading some old forum posts about lagging and freezing I still haven't perfected the sim to be lag and freezing free.Don't get me wrong, it is a lot better than when I first started off. I haven't made any changes to the CFG apart from within the Sim. In the Sim, initially it lags a bit, then after a couple of minutes its okay with the occasional couple of second lag, then after a few more minutes it just keeps freezing for about 15 seconds at a time. I have downloaded Nvidia Inspector, but that hasn't really made a difference. My set up is: - Standard 1080P Asus Monitor - Intel I7 6700K Processor - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard - Geforce GTX 970 - G SKILL Ripjaw V Series 16GB Ram During my testing I have been using the default raptor at various airports, and then the new maddog x at EGBB (UK2000. The addons I have running are ORBX Global, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Open LC Europe, Vector and HD Trees. In the background I am also running VPilot and Active Sky. I have tried turning these off too, but still not difference. Below are the settings of the sim currently : P3DV4 Lighting by James Roberts, on Flickr P3DV4 Weather by James Roberts, on Flickr P3DV4 World by James Roberts, on Flickr P3DV4 Display by James Roberts, on Flickr Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to get rid of the stutters/lag, short of suggesting a new graphics card as I would like to try and save money for new addons if I can get it working! Thanks, James Roberts
  10. Thanks to everyone for their input, really has helped me. Going to stick with my 970 for the time being then, and either see what the next generation of graphics cards brings later in the year, or as people suggest pick up a 1080TI when the price drops. Thanks again!
  11. Thanks for the advice so far guys, greatly appreciated. I think I will be looking at the 1080 when I do upgrade, as the 1080TI just seems to be out of my price range for the time being. I've been looking at this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-g1-gaming-rgb-8192mb-gddr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gv-n1080g1-gaming-8-gx-184-gi.html or the asus version for an extra £100 if its worth it? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-geforce-gtx-1080-directcu-iii-strix-advanced-gaming-aura-rgb-8192mb-gddr5x-pci-express-graphics-gx-409-as.html But for now, my 970 seems to be okay? Any more input would be appreciated, especially around the Dynamic Lighting option? Thanks!
  12. Evening everyone! I'm finally about to bite the bullet and go from FSX to P3DV4. However, before I do. I'm thinking about swapping out my graphics card. My set up at the moment is: - Intel I7 6700K - EVGA 4GB GeForce GTX970 - G Skill Ripjaws V Series 8 GB - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard - Corsair 850W Powersupply - At the moment I run just a normal ASUS HDMI monitor (1920 x 1080) From reading the forums, I see Dynamic Lighting takes a hit, but this is one of the reasons I would like to make the switch, along with TFDI TrueGlass and RealLight. I think the 1080TI is out of the question for me, due to the prices at the moment. But from reading the forum this is only really required if you want to do VR?and I think in the future the only step I will make will be 4K. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, James Roberts
  13. Hi All, I've recently come across issues with my sound within FSX. For example, when starting from cold and dark in the PMDG NGX or even the default Cessna, I seem to missing the battery sounds with them only playing if I click on a switch for about a second and then it cuts out again. I'm having the same issue with the FSL A320, where I'm missing the dynamic sounds such as the engine's windmilling etc. Any ideas? I've tried a fresh re-install of FSX and I've just done a re-install of FSX, My OS and my drivers. I'm running 64 bit Windows 10 on a Z170 Pro Gaming. Kind Regards, James Roberts
  14. Think I'll have to do that! Thanks!
  15. Thanks for clearing that up Jim
  16. Morning, First of all thank you for the release of a fantastic product. I've been following this ever since it was announced, and it's everything I expected it to be. However, I'm trying to print the Normal Procedures part of the 747-400_FCOM, but it's asking for a password? Are we unable to print these documents? Kind Regards, James Roberts
  17. Evening Gents and Ladies, Was on FSX earlier, and i accidentally smacked my hand against my keyboard when i went to reach for something on my desk. It's hit some buttons on my keyboard, and I don't know which ones, as in the process it has caused my viewpoint in FSX to completely lock out. It isn't the yoke or keyboard, as they still work separately outside of FSX fine. For example, when im in the VC or spot view, the view will load, however I am unable to move around (looking up, down, left and right). Does anyone have any ideas on what I have done and how I can fix it? Thanks, James
  18. First photo that i've ever posted of my adventures on flight sim, constructive criticism welcome :(

  20. thanks, i shall try it when i next load fsx =)
  21. Good Evening Ladies and Gents,i am having trouble with the Jetstream 41. I have the ability to load it into fsx and set up the fmc and get the engines started (sometimes). However when im starting to taxi or just making last minute preparations my fsx CTDs. This only happens with the J41. It is a excellent aircraft to fly though. I don't really want to delete the sound .dll as i love the internal and external sounds and i dont want to change to 64 bit operating system as this will cause other things not to work. However i have tried using Direct X but this solution did not work. I only took delivery of this new computer last night. It has 4GB Ram, 1GB graphics card, 500GB hardrive. Anyone have any ideas please?ThanksJames R
  22. Hi.For the issue in the first picture is because the altitude is set in meters. You can change back by clicking on the small button above where you select new altitudes for the autopilot. Also the issue in the second picture is the wrong qnh i think. May be wrong with both of these but im trying to help ;). You can solve this by pressing B on your keyboard. Hope this works?James Roberts
